Ian Carvell – Managing Director
Ian brings to ProjxIT over 10 years of experience delivering enterprise software and infrastructure services and consultancy in the areas of Project Portfolio Management and IT Governance.
Ian established ProjxIT Ltd in September 2008 having identified a gap in the market for PPM Software as a Service. Since March 2010, he leads the partnership with Clarizen for the delivery of sales and support for Clarizen in the UK.
Prior to forming ProjxIT, Ian worked for Computer Science Corporation where he was responsible for the delivery of CSC’s Project Portfolio for global infrastructure services in EMEA. Ian also held positions in Service Managment, Bid Management, Process Management and Quality Managment. Previously, Ian spent three years in Project Management consulting and is Prince2 and MSP certified. Ian has worked for a number of other SME’s and Global Organisations including Booker Plc, National Seminconductors, National Grid, Robert Half International and IBM.
John Chandler – Sales Director
John Chandler heads up sales for ProjxIT across EMEA. John has spent over a decade building significant revenues for the biggest global software companies in the world SAP, Peoplesoft, Oracle. With a career spanning 30 years in the sales and marketing arena for software sales.
John has held several management and board positions delivering share holder value through defining the strategy and channels to market for SME's and implementing the sales process. As an experienced account director for both installed base and new business wins John has consistently delivered results above target. John is a qualified industrial engineer.
Nigel Cox – Marketing Director
Nigel has spent the last 25 years in a variety of sales, management and executive positions in the IT industry at companies such as IBM, Sun Microsystems and Oracle. His roles have involved delivering competitive advantage and business efficiency to clients across all branches of industry in Europe and Africa. For the last eight years Nigel has run his own business, Channel Management Partners, a company specializing in assisting start-up technology businesses to enter Europe.
In that period he has built for a US telemarketing business a 45 man pan-European unit and has developed a multi-million Euro licence business for a Russian software company. Nigel has a degree in Geology and Geophysics from Durham University, the Diploma of the Institute of Marketing and is a member of the Institute of Marketing.
Alan Jones – Head of Operations
Alan is responsible for marketing and lead generation. He has many years of sales, marketing, business management and administration experience.
Prior to partnering the establishment of ProjxIT, Alan set up and managed the telemarketing campaigns of a number of technology based SME’s. Previously, he directed his own domiciliary care franchise.
Alan is MBA qualified and is a Maths graduate of Birmingham University. He started his career in Financial Services at the NFU Mutual and spent time at HSBC, Bacon & Woodrow and Mellon.
Dr Paul Fuller – Head of Consulting
Paul is an experienced Business Management and Consulting professional bringing to bear a wide range of experience to assist organizations achieve significant competitive advantage. This is based on involvement in a range of multi-£m programmes and smaller scale projects in both the public and private sector.
